I’ve always been drawn to black and white photography. I admire photographers like the great Ansel Adams, Yousuf Karsh and Anton Corbijn. Part of my photography journey included years spent in the darkroom in college and later developing film in my own home. Black and white photography strips away the extras. It forces you to see the raw emotion in each photograph. It’s compelling and it’s beautiful.
Newborn photography is all about emotion. When I convert a newborn photo to black and white, it creates a whole new piece of art. It sparks different emotions and my clients absolutely love it. I offer black and white versions of all photos in my full session galleries. I enjoy offering clients the option to choose which version evokes the most emotion for them.
